5.0 out of 5 stars There are no easy answers in life 23 Dec 2011
This memoir leaves the reader with questions rather than answers. It explores the complex world of female sexuality from the viewpoint of a real woman, with a courageous intention of disclosing the truth, warts and all, and helping other women to come closer to fulfilment. It would prompt some very interesting discussions if selected for a book club! The people in this tale come across vividly, from the first love rediscovered online years later to the confident businessman who unlocks the door to a new world. Although the book is very honest, I did not find it shocking. It is about thoughts and emotions, not body parts. Not suitable for those in search of titillation!

Bildungsroman for girls - see my rave review on amazon.co.uk. There's now enough of this stuff out there for there to be a mass market 'Coming of Age' series, which would make a lot more sense for young women than all the glitzy lifestyle nonsense. With spunky humorists like Beth Lisick and Alissa Nutting, it's a golden age.

She's sort of like an anti-Carrie Bradshaw, which you have to admit, has potential. Incredibly personal and honest to the point that you *will* make judgements, even if you never normally make judgements on people.
