After reading the negative reviews on this product, I admit that I delayed buying it for several weeks worrying that my toddler would be tumbling into public toilets all over town. Having finally bought it, I realise I need not have worried. My toddler is still happy to use it weeks later and has not slipped into a single toilet!
When I first opened the box, I was very pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it felt in my hands. I think the picture above does not do it justice as it looks like a flimsy piece of plastic. There is no indication of the sturdy plastic hinges underneath which not only allow it to be folded but also make it strong and prevent it from buckling.
With regard to it holding the toddler securely, I have not had a single problem so far with it supporting my 3 year old son. As long as you take some care to position the product on the toilet before lifting the child into place I can see no real problem.
The seat comes with a handy little bag so it's hygenic when you're carrying it about in a handbag and both seat and bag are easy to clean.

It was good to overcome my sons fear of public toilets but the hole can be a bit small. Often had little messes as my son couldn't be stable on it and give himself enough space to aim.

I bought one of these for my Son because he liked to sit down to wee. The first time we used it the front of it slipped and he thought he was going to fall in the Loo, not a great start! I think our Loo must be a bit wide, but having said that, it is wonderful for taking on day trips and holiday because it is light and portable and thoroughly hygienic I would therefore recommend this item, just be careful with it!

Very bulky
