Product Description

Synopsis
Experience humour and pathos as Stefan Harker, a thirty seven year old with a rampant libido, tells you in his own words about his life, love and loss set against the corrupt background of corporate and independent estate agency. He exposes the good, the bad and the downright illegal practices that many people involved with the property market will have come across in one way or another.

This book is a compulsive and fascinating read, unlike many books it was impossible to predict the outcome. It touched my heart and also made me smile. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and can't wait for the follow up.

I have recommended it to all my friends, so read it now! You won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fascinating read!, 25 Dec 2006
By Peter Rauh (Gloucester, England) - See all my reviews
I was amazed to realise that this is a first novel; it is such a beautifully tightly written style. It made me laugh out loud, and it made me cry. The perceptive insights into how cancer effects those who are close to the patient, and how some people react to death, struck a real chord for me. This was balanced with great humour as it described the day to day shanannigans of estate agency. It convinced me that what I had always thought about estate agents is true - they're not all bad!! In fact, Stefan Harker is just the sort of bloke I would like as a best mate.
I definately recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Curious State of Affairs - Wow!, 4 Jan 2007

This is a fantastic read, very well crafted. There's a fast moving plot, yet the characters are extremely vivid and stayed in my head long after I'd finished reading.

The novel charts the life of Stefan Harker, a ruthless and over-sexed estate agent. We see Stefan go on a personal journey, encountering life-changing love and loss along the way. There are some extremely moving sections in the book, but there are funny moments that made me laugh out loud. There are also some really fascinating and shocking insights into the darker side of corporate estate agency.

It's a book that will appeal equally to men and women. My husband has now started reading it and can't put it down! Buy it! You'll love it!
