I brought this book for my 3yr old son as he loves stories and I wanted to get him away from the tv. As George is a childrens book I thought that the cds would have some good sound effects and lots of George talking - unfortunately it is just someone reading a story and my son isnt interested in it at all. Have put the cds away until he is a little bigger and wont be so focused on the sound effects. The book is great though, has great pictures so will be a good nighttime story book.

my children loved the book and the cds, would recommend this to anybody with children above the age of 3.

My son loves Curious George and this book is great for him to sit and look through at all the pictures. Pictures are originals but still look like the up to date cartoon that is shown on CITV at the moment so he recognises this George as the same thing as on the telly. Only gripe is that reading this at bedtime can be difficult as there are no convenient small chapters, each story runs to about 20 pages!
