Product Description

Review

'Charming, gentle and funny' Jilly Cooper 'Cosy, traditional, worm-glowish sort of whodunit: a fast disappearing genre' The Times --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Product Description

Something peculiar is going on at the Group Medical Practice in Taviscombe. Sheila Malory can't help but feel it may be linked with the unexpected arrival of Dr Morrison. Arrogant and cold-mannered , his alleged misdiagnosis of a local patient who later died has made him the focus of village rumour. When Dr Morrison is found dead, apparently murdered, it is assumed to be a random act of violence. However, Sheila Malory is not convinced. Had Dr Morrison been involved in some sort of dangerous business in London? Or did someone local have a motive for wanting him out of the way? A twisting mystery, "No Cure For Death" should not be prescribed for the faint-hearted. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Mrs Malory series 19 Mar 2012
Format:Paperback
Good book in the Mrs Malory series. Plenty of action, very readable. Love the West Country setting. Again- watch the title as some of the USA ones have different titles

A gut-twisting sleuth story from start to finish 6 May 2006
By Midwest Book Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
No Cure For Death is a large-print mystery about an unseemly medical practice. When a doctor belabored by charges of misdiagnosing a patient who suddenly died turns up dead himself, all leads point to the drug addict who was the last person to have seen him alive. However, the intrepid Sheila Malory has a suspicion that the doctor's death was far more than a random act of violence, and embarks on a treacherous search through the flaws and casual cruelties of a questionable health care system for evidence of foul play. A gut-twisting sleuth story from start to finish.
