I originally noticed a cupcake maker online which was another brand, however i was put off after searching youtube for reviews and realising that the machine made teeny tiny sized cupcakes about the size of a 2p! so i hunted for a full sized cupcake maker and found some very expensive ones, and this. The description leads you to believe that the machine is capable up making 'deep cupcakes/muffins' however when mine arrived this morning i found that yet again it makes mini sized cakes maybe around the size of a 50p. So i was disappointed at the cake size, BUT the machine is a convenient size, seems decently made and most importantly makes yummy cakes :) if you leave it the 3-4mins advertised your cakes will be very pale, i left mine longer to go golden and they came out lovely and crunchy round the sides and soft in the middle. The holes in the machine are too small for standard cupcake cases (nevermind the 'muffin' cases you are lead to believe are suitable!)however i just spooned the mixture straight in without greasing/flouring and because it's non-stick they came out easily.
So overall a nice product which i look forward to making plenty of use out of, however larger cakes would be nice so 1 star is lost for mis-representation.
p.s. there is a rather odd instruction manual which states it is suitable for people with mental disorders to use if supervised as well as children, why not just say anyone can use it if safe practice/supervision is used!
