This review stands true for all of the Cunningham texts. While attending Medical School, I had more difficulty with Human Anatomy than any other subject. Part of the problem, in my opinion, is that I'd had extensive training in comparative anatomy during undergrad school, and Anatomy, especially as presented by more famous and didactic tomes, was simply boring to me. Cunningham, however, presented the subject in a far more readable, interesting and learnable form--at least for me. Yes, another text might suit someone else better but Cunningham, in a sense, saved my cookies so I'll always be grateful to Cunningham's intelligent presentation.
