The culinaire bean slicer is fantastic. I was very pleased with the product--I grow my own beans in the garden, & this piece of equipment has helped a lot in cutting the amount of time I spend preparing the beans for the freezer. The delivery time was good--1 day earlier than expected--only 2 days from ordering.

Very good slicing the runner beans but makes your thumb ache when holding blue part of handle whilst slicing.Not easy on the hand if you have arthritis as i do.

Took a bit of time getting use to it but after using it once or twice it did the job well. have been use to using another make but the new one better for lager beans

Easy bean slicer
Bean slicer works best with freshly picked beans. Once the beans get a bit floppy the slicer is not as successful.

Absolute rubbish
If beans are young and tender they buckle as you try to push them through. If they're a little older you just can't push them through. Cut them up with a knife instead.
