I wanted to update my 15 years old plastic kettle but wanted something that looked good and not too bulky..and that obviously did the job. This kettle has been great so far (had it for 2 months). The only disadvantage is that is a little bit noisy and pricy but we love it and are very happy with the purchase...and looks great in our kitchen!
