I cannot be without a handblender especially to blend soups as this is the easiest and most efficient way.
My kenwood one gave up after 7 years and I preferred a stainless steel one which would not discolour
It does a great job and the soup is blended quickly.
The only comment I have is fo the whisk. I did not buy it for this extra, as I have a handwhisk, but the wisk looks very flimsy and think it will break quickly.

Only used it once so far, found it a very powerful blender which did a leek and potato soup ( about 2 litres) in seconds versus using a food processor which normaly takes about 15 minutes blending in 3 -4 batches and then 15 minutes cleaning. The hand blender did the job in about 45 seconds in the saucepan and took about 2 minutes to clean. Would recommend

Amazon Verified Purchase
I was looking for an interim hand held mixer until mine comes out of store after moving (and before major kitchen refurb!) This seem to do a good job and adequately whisks egg whites etc as well as doing a good general in-bowl blending job. I am a devotee of Cuisinart, having several items of this brand including a Blender and Espresso Coffee maker. Their customer service is excellent when needed!
