I have had this grill for about four weeks now. I am very impressed. The main features are that it is extremely easy to clean, the plates come off and on very easily and turn over from grill to griddle without any effort. It cooks all sorts of food very easily, and steaks, burgers, paninis come out very well, with very little mess. It is very well made and comes with a five year guarantee.

Originally I intended to buy a George Foreman Grill as I had previously owned one.
I decided to read amazon reviews to find the best one. It was then that I came across the Cuisinart GR4NU and am I glad I did.
I usually expect a certain degree of hype when I read reviews so I read a lot of them, both positive and ones with certain reservations. I compared George Foreman grill reviews to those of Cuisinart and there didn't seem to any competition. I bought the Cuisinart.
I have been using it for approximately 1 month. In particular I have 2 kitchen items that cheer me up just to know that I have them in MY kitchen. One is an italian coffee maker that makes wonderful coffee from the bean to the cup at the press of a single button. The other is my Cuisinart grill. It is beautifully retro looking reminiscent of 50's americana. It's solid and dependable yet modern and simple to use.
It cooks steaks, chicken breasts, burgers etc. in no time and they are succulent and delicious.
Toasted sandwiches besides being very tasty are crisp and hold their shape.
As for cleaning the plates a quick rinse and rub of a cloth does the job.
Buy it, you wont be disappointed.

I have been an avid user of other griddles in the past but was always fed up of how much of a pain it was to clean them. Then I bought the cuisinart griddle, it now could not be easier, finish cooking wait for it to cool down, un clip the grills and put them in the dishwasher. My frying pan hasn't been out of the cupboard since I bought it which is a lot healthier and with the choice of flat or ribbed plates I do Gammon on one side and cook the egg on the other. All in all best thing I have bought for the kitchen in years

Arrived on time. Not the cheapest unit and a bit bulky. Possibly no better than cheaper units. Gets to temprature quickly then cools down taking a long time to cook anything. Read more
