I've only had this kettle a couple of days, but already it's my favourite kettle I've had in a long while.

It's balanced very well, pours well. The handle is very grippy, and feels incredibly secure. I had no trouble keeping steam off my hand, unlike some other reviewers did. It was not difficult to remove the lid--the knob is made of the same grippy material and does not get hot. However, it's easy enough to fill through the spout, which is the way I usually fill these kinds of kettles. The window is large and it's easy to tell how full it is.

It took exactly 3 minutes to boil the maximum (1.7L) load, starting with very cold water.

It runs as quietly as any kettle I've had. (They all make some noise.)

Best of all - this comes with a 3-year warranty. Most kettles I've owned recently come with a 1-year warranty, and usually pack in around about month 14. Of course I have no idea if this kettle will last the distance, but a 3-year warranty gives me hope that it will.

I can't fault this kettle at all--and it looks good, too. However, its form does not interfere with its function in any way. It's definitely worth the extra money. This is not a cheap kettle, but it's not crazily expensive either. Very pleased, so far.

My Morphy-Richards had started losing its cream enamel off the bottom edge and was looking suspiciously rusty. So after much reading of reviews I ordered the Cuisinart stainless steel kettle. A splendid beast! So much easier to see the water level than with that silly gauge that never worked properly; lovely balance and grip; smart design; doesn't drip; fast boil; safety cut-out - all you could ask for.

Replacing Philips dome kettle after 15 years use , wanted dome kettle similar. Checked out reports for my preferred Dualit as I have a toaster that goes on forever as well, but deterred by element quality reports. The better reports for the Cuisinart seem well founded though only had it 2 months. Very comfortable to hold, well balanced, lovely grip , good side viewing for volume, boils quickly. I am very happy with it.

We looked at many kettles before we bought this one and the decision was made purely on practicality. We were attracted by the range of jug kettles on the market but were concerned that they felt un-balanced and as my wife has lost some strength in her wrists safety was a major issue. We decided on the Cuisinart as the handle was very comfortable and non-slip, some of the other kettles of this type on the market had handles which would slip through the hand if not gripped the exactly the right position.
Having use this kettle for some time I would thoroughly recommend it, it is very fast to boil ,though a little noisy, whilst it is well made I would have given this item a 5 star rating if the finish was of a slightly better quality,

This is a great Kettle, good to look at, easy to pour, no excess wrist movement (over our previous choice that was a jug kettle with a horizontal spout! ridiculous design!)

Boils very quickly, and is not loud at all.

top is a little stiff, but filling through the spout is easy enough so not a problem.

Brought to replace an 18yr old Phillips after my wife moaned and complained about it for so long. If I knew a £60 kettle was capable of making her so happy I would have stopped lavishing jewellery and chocolates on her long ago!!

Had this kettle just over a year and sorry to say we'll have to replace it - after about 8 months we noticed that one of the windows had a vertical crack though not leaking. Shortly afterwards the plastic knob on the lid disintegrated and just broke off so we fashioned a replacement. Then the other window cracked vertically and now, another month later on, both windows have developed horizontal crack down from the vertical cracks (though still not leaking). Also, as with other reviewers, steam escapes when boiled so care is needed that don't get scalded when picking it up. Real pity, like the look of it but made with substandard materials.
