As a mini food processor, I am very impressed with this product. It is slightly expensive considering you can get a full blown food processor for a similar price, but I think you get what you pay for. It looks and feels very high quality with its die cast metal body, certainly not cheap and plastic, and the blade is very sharp. I have a small kitchen and it has proved perfect for making curry pastes, spice mixes, bread crumbs, pesto, and a whole host of different sauces. I've even used it to make soup, although this required blending in two batches as the capacity is only 900ml, but that's hardly a hassle.

When my old Kenwood mini-processor fell apart, I decided to upgrade to this one. What a good decision. The bowl is bigger than many of the cheaper "minis" which gives important extra room. The blade is super sharp meaning hummous comes out lovely and creamy and you can chop herbs finely rather than getting a mush that other processors produce. It readily makes fresh bread crumbs (I nearly always do this from frozen bread), will mix up small quantities of "rubbed in" mixture for a little pastry or a crumble topping and I've had no problems grinding small quantities of nuts (and unlike a larger one, the contents don't get stuck under the blade).

It doesn't claim to be a full sized processor with lots of gadgets but for simple tasks it is just the job. On the strength of the quality of this, I have since bought the Cuisinart full sized processor and that's excellent too.

Very easy to wash up and I usually stick the blade onto a prong in the dishwasher so it comes out clean without removing any of my fingers.

Recommended for when the hand blender won't do and you don't need the capacity or the functionality of a larger processor.

This is my third mini processor I have purchased in the last 2 years and it is by far the best. I use one daily for chopping up cooked rice, pulses and veg for my parrot, as well as knocking up mayonnaise, pesto and curry pastes etc occasionally for myself. Previous mini processors(Magimix and Kenwood) have not lasted - usually the bowl or lid breaks around the tab area. The plastic of the Cuisinart bowl and lid is of higher quality than other brands and after owning this for over two months it still looks as good as new. The blade is RAZOR sharp beware - this is not like normal processors, but it makes for a quality chopper. I have learnt this the hard way, and now handle the blade with the caution it deserves - it does have a handle, so use it. All dishwasher proof.

I really cannot fault this machine, it chops veg, grinds nuts and makes decent mayo (there is a pouring hole in the lid), I suppose it would be nice if these small processors could grate or slice, but overall I can't complain. It is a bit more pricey, but you are getting value for money. I have also noticed they use this chopper on 'Saturday Kitchen'.

Very good little processor. One should follow the instructions and work only 40-50 sec at a time as it can easily overheat.

I bought this to chop food for someone with problems chewing. The instructions did not provide much help with regard to processing cooked meat with vegetables. Experimenting, I found that it chopped cooked meat well and the vegetables in soup were smaller, but reducing the size of cooked leeks a day later was a challenge. Like an apple, everything flew to the edge of the bowl and even using the scraper to place the contents back into the centre, nothing prevented bits ending up out of reach of the blade. The result was an uneven mixture.

The machine looks great, is nice and light, but I can understand the review on the Which? website.

Nice and easy to use, takes up hardly any room and great for my galley kitchen. Will chop ice but don't overload it as it makes the unit unstable. Same goes for filling it up completely with very 'liquid' contents (it squirts out of the 'pour holes' in the lid if you overload it). Good for making sauces and chopping and happy with purchase as the unit is attractive and does what it's supposed to do for it's size and price. Would recommend.

I bought this two years ago. It was really good until the motor failed. Maybe I expect things to last longer than they actually do nowadays.

The motor isn't very powerful, and begins to heat up and emit a strange smell after a minute or two of using it.
