4.0 out of 5 stars Ok, 24 May 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Cuckoo's Child (Paperback)
When I first read the book I thought it would be pretty good. And it was, but there were some parts that were overdramatic. I've read tons of stories similar to this--a girl wants to join these popular kids, a girl has family problems, etc. Why can't authors write about other things?

5.0 out of 5 stars It was a wonderful book, and I really enjoyed it!, 29 Jan 1999
By A Customer
I think it was one of the best books I have read all year. The author used so much feeling and emotions in her writing. The bad part in the book was that it took place in the sixties, and she didn't mention any events that happened in the sixties, except a little bit about Caroline Kennedy. In other words it was a very go book and I highly recommend it!!!!!!!!!

This review is from: The Cuckoo's Child (Paperback)
This book has a good story line and it shares the feelings of all the characters quite well. The ending leaves you saying "WOW that was a great ending!!"

I loved the characters in this book, especially Mia and her friend Sinclair. I don't think it's just a children's book -- it seems as if it would be for everybody. Read more
