About the Author

Donald Nausbaum is an inveterate traveller, having photographed in more than 60 countries in North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. His photographs have appeared in a variety of newspapers, magazines, airline in-flight magazines and travel guides.He is the author of Caribbean The Islands, also published by Macmillan Caribbean. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.

Ron Base is a novelist and screenwriter and has been fascinated with Cuba ever since he first visited the island in 1971. He currently lives in Montreal.
