I cant be precisely sure this is my model oven but it looks identical and does have the pizza bump. I purchased mine at target on sale, same price range late dec 08.
UPDATE: We did have to return this oven its problems just kept increasing.
We now own a 30 dollar w/m big box store hamilton beech with a pizza bump, no quirks works fine.
I love my oven but it does have a few quirks...
pros: mine (4400b) is non stick interior, pizza bump for up to a 12" Pizza (4400b), fits nicely in small area but can fit large cooking,
Can use timer to turn unit off or set to stay on, doesnt heat up my counter like its going to burn the cabiinets off the walls, convection cooks nicely especially on cookies and baked goods, I like the divited handle like things near bottom makes it easy to move since most dont come w/ handles anymore
cons: Its thermostat is not consistant from unit to unit, mine is off by forty or fifty degrees -. I set it accordingly and since it broils nice and hot (temped at over 500) Im fine w/ it as long as it keeps working. But it does add cooking time.
We purchased a second one before our returns period is going to be up to verify the temp thing wasnt an error that could be corrected w/ an exchange but the newest one got returned and old one kept. The newest one had a rack or rack holders that didnt fit, the rack would fall down in back of oven on burner, maybe just defective and I noticed the bottom front burner didnt get as orange hot as the other three. The temp however ran about fifty degrees higher then it said on dial ! So clearly there is quality control issues w/ consistancy of units. Just be aware.
Id be prepared for exchange but Im hearing most things are made this way now.
I do like the oven a lot honestly I dont want to return it so I hope it continues to work fine w/ the adjustment for temp setting.
So many of the toaster ovens got bad reviews it was sort of a spin of the wheel anyway.
Plus I needed a unit large enough to bake a small chicken or regular size pie but not huge like so many are now as we live in a small space.
The b and d unit meets those needs. They do make smaller units w/ out bumps so this one was a nice in between size.
Id say try it but be prepared for exchange if needed, we are still on the originally purchased unit so for us its working out.
