Solid 3 Nov. 2010
By J. Nash - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This is a solid, albeit very brief, supplement to the CthulhuTech line. It gives a pretty decent look at some of the smaller cults in the game world allowing you to throw a bit of diversity and the occasional curve ball at the players who are perhaps always suspecting Chrysalis, the Esoteric Order of Dagon or one of the other "big names" in the cult scene. It even gives some tips on how to run a "Cult game" for your players if you're interested in trying something really different. All in all I was satisfied though the price point, as is typical for CTech books, was a bit high for the content provided. It weighs in right around 60 pages. If it weren't for the steep Amazon discount I would have laughed this off. Consider that about a dozen of those pages are taken up with amateurish fiction that seems to be a selling point. Don't let that deter you though - while the writing isn't the greatest it DOES at least help evoke the appropriate mood. 4 Stars - would have been 5 but the price and low page count knocked a star off.

Great material, but high cost and low page count 26 Jun. 2011
By A. McLaughlin - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
The information on the cults in this book is great, and the art is wonderful as always with CthulhuTech, but I get weekly magazines with higher page counts, and the cost for the material is a bit steep. Still, I found it worth the price, and was able to insert some of the cult ideas into other roleplaying games as well. Good buy, but I took it down a peg on account of the price and brevity.
Awesome product, over-priced. 8 May 2014

As with all Cthulhu Tech products, the content and artwork are high quality. What other reviewers have said about the size and price of this 'book' is true. Any magazine is thicker than this book. Even the Amazon price is too much, and without their discount, this would be a no-go.
