Yet another great CD from Kuri. Most of the songs have a different style to them, yet it's Crystal's Style (hence the title). Her vocals have matured from the previous album 4 Real - you can hear it when she sings her ballads! Here's the tracklist:
1. Bye My Darling - a rock-pop song which is a nice way to kick off the album. Kuri sings about telling a guy that it's over!! The PV is pretty cool with Kuri dancing with robots!
2. MAKE YOU MINE - there's two versions of this song - Japanese & English! This is the Japanese version in which Crystal tells her love interest to step to the dancefloor as she wants to make him hers! A pretty hot song with an Arabian feel.
3. BET YOU DON'T KNOW - a very refreshing track & definitely one of the stand-outs! Again, there are two versions of this song - the Japanese(this version) & English (found of Koi Ni Ochitara single as a B-side). It's got a nice techno/dance melody!
4. Kiss - a beautiful ballad which showcases Kuri's amazing and mature vocals! The PV is a little weird, but this is an amazing song! Kuri is backed by a band and an orchestra!
5. Tears - another beautiful ballad, yet a sad song as Kuri reminisces about her past lover.
6. LOVE it TAKE it - a rock/pop song that I usually skip over! It's an okay song, but definitely not iPod worthy.
7. &Brand-New - a track very reminiscent of Britney's That's Where You Take Me from the Britney album. An okay song, but I prefer Britney's song over this one. Not iPod worthy.
8. flowers - a mid-tempo ballad that's supposed to be the Japanese version of Victoria Beckham's Every Part Of Me. Personally, I prefer Kuri's song! Another beautiful ballad with an R&B feel!
9. Magic - a very sexy hip-hop/R&B song reminiscent of Brandy's early albums. Kuri sings about capturing her love interest by putting him under a spell.
10. We Gonna Boogie - a pretty catchy hip-hop song which reminds me of a party!
11. Baby Cop - a pretty cool song with a 70's funk beat! Also features the rapper Mummy-D.
12. MY Everything - another great ballad which showcases Kuri's vocals! Again, there is an English version (found on the Two As Onesingle as a B-side) and Japanese version (this version).
13. home girls - a mid-tempo jam as Kuri pays tribute to her friends aka home girls! A nice way to close the album.
14. *Bonus Track* - MAKE YOU MINE (English version) - this is a bonus track found on the CD version only. Basically, this is the English version of MAKE YOU MINE.
Overall: a pretty decent album that showcases how Kuri has matured vocally. In my opinion, only two of the songs are not iPod worthy - other than that, another great accomplishment from my girl Kuri from the Hama!
Lil' Radio's Top 5 Jams:
1. BET YOU DON'T KNOW
2. home girls
3. flowers
4. Kiss

I've only heard one song "Flower" and it's very similar if not a remake of a Victoria Beckham song "every part of Me"
