Marion Webb-De Sisto MICCH. BFRP. has held a keen interest in Women's Spirituality, Channeling and the Celestial Hierarchy for twenty years. She is a graduate member and former tutor of the International College of Crystal Healing, a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner and a Reiki Master. Marion has written books on her experiences with angelic guides and on the fascinating subject of crystal skulls. Having lived and worked in the US for many years, she presently resides in South East England with her American husband.

I bought this book a few months ago after purchasing my first crystal skull, I felt it would be wise to 'swat up' before trying to work with him. I was recommended this book by some friends, it was also the only one I found that had very good reports across the board.
This book is an absolute must for any-one choosing to work with Crystal Skulls and crystals. Marion covers all areas in a down to earth manner and, (so to speak), leaves 'no stone unturned'. I found this book to be invaluable, and is exellant for reference. It is written in a way that is easy to understand, covers everything from how to cleanse, charge, dedicate your new skull companion to how to use you skull for healing and learning to communicate with it. She also talks of her own experiences and those of other people. It is strange, when reading through the experiences, how much I immediately related to.
All in all, and easy book to navigate your way through, perfect for new and more experienced skull carers with lots of excersises to work on.
My only problem with the book? reaching the last page!

Marion Webb-De Sisto a crystal healing practitioner, delves into the fascinating mysteries and facts surrounding both contemporary and ancient, crystal skulls, a topic I am interested in, but have little experience myself. Her book, Crystal Skulls: Emissaries of Healing and Sacred Wisdom, spans over fourteen detailed chapters split up into three sections - 1) The different types of skulls available (Chinese, Brazilian, Healing, Dimensional Transistion, Travelling and other Crystal Skull Custodians) - 2) How to take care of them (choosing, cleansing, dedicating & tuning) and finally, 3) working with the skulls (self-healing, self-protection and healing and protection exercises for others), as you can see Marion packs a lot of information in 177 pages.
I enjoyed reading about Marion's experiences, in particular the first time she held one, how her first fluorite Chinese skulls came to her at just the right time, and what happened to her during a "Sacred Seven" layout. It is fascinating to learn of tales about ancient skulls belonging to lost continents, or of being relics of a bygone civilization such as happened when Anna Mitchell-Hedges found a skull in the lost Mayan city of Lubaantun, which was said to be a true artifact not hand or machine carved. Equally intriguing are contemporary crystal skulls, which can also hold a great deal of information, depending on the mineral it was carved from, the energy of the carver and the vibrational potency of the location from which the mineral was mined.
Now, I'm not an expert in Crystal Skulls myself, but I've been extremely curious about them for a long while. I have borrowed similar books from a friend in the past, but this is one of the most interesting and appealing by far, and I think that is because of the style it is written in. It's clear Marion certainly knows her skulls, and the patience, practice and skill required to work with them. She not only tells the reader about her own encounters and research, but also includes other people's impressions and experiences throughout their healing and soul progression, and for me that makes it more interesting than just a book of facts. Crystal Skulls: Emissaries of Healing and Sacred Wisdom is an educational book, and one that I will be returning to for reference.

Having recently been introduced to the crystal skulls and being the guardian of a couple of them, I find Marion's book invaluable. It has plenty of clear and concise advice on how to work with them for healing, meditation and other purposes. The author has also given many personal experiences that she and other people have had in their life with the skulls and this adds the personal touch to the book. The style of writing is clear and simple. No mumbo jumbo or lengthy theoretical explanations, just simple facts. This book is an excellent introduction to working with the crystal skulls.
