Review
A compulsive read that owes its soul and passion to the writer…… a book that cannot be put down till the end…yet at the end you want more. A must read for all ages. Neeta Mistry -- --www.crystalriverbook.com
I liked The Crystal River. The scenery, the memorable characters - human, beast and half-beast. the simple but effective language... I put down the book wishing there were real Bansu trees out there! A O --www.crystalriverbook.com
This book is very gripping from start to finish, highly imaginative and creative story writing, an excellent start to a trilogy. Irene Anosike --www.crystalriverbook.com

When an enchanted candlestick was brought into the land of Esrom little did the inhabitants know that its demon keepers would come after it. 12 year old Bru lives in the peaceful village of Esrom with his widowed father Navan and his younger sister Akiya. Esrom is known for its beautiful countryside, and its worship of the mysterious Guardian. Young Bru like his father, dismisses the talk of the Guardian as fairy tale. When Navan returns home with an enchanted candlestick, the village is visited by a group of warriors whose strange sorcery bewitch the villagers. As the village is struck by a severe famine and Navan becomes gravely ill, Bru and Akiya are instructed by the village seer to leave the village in search of the mysterious Rowhak and the Crystal River. They hope finding them will bring healing to their father and their land. Follow the children on their physical and spiritual quest to regain a lost faith. The Crystal River will inspire you to look beyond the natural, and put your hope and faith in the Guardian, just like the people of Esrom.
