Crystal Quest Part Five: Dark VictoryCrystal Quest Part 5
What I liked about this was, just when you think that the quest is becoming straight forward for the young hero, it all goes wrong in the most unexpected ways! Just as he thinks the next set of missions are clear, he has to go forward in time to see what happens if he fails to get all the crystals! Then he has to divert back in time to Ancient Atlantis to see who hid the crystals in the first place. Another unexpected twist. Then as he does get more of the crystals, he falls under their negative influence and betrays his friends? Again, another plot twist that makes this different from other quest-type stories. Without giving the story away, watch out for the confrontation between the various factions at the end! Never saw that character stepping in and saving the day!
