Product Description

Have you heard of crystal grids but wondered what they are, what they're for, how they work? This book will explain all that and more. This is a refreshingly practical crystal healing book. Being practical, you'll find this guidebook outlined with clear, basic instructions on specific grids and their use. Using science as our platform, you’ll explore the “how’s” and “why’s”. Through my background and love of “science-y” subject matter, I help explain what a crystal grid is, the sacred geometry foundation of them, their energy fields, the connection to Mother Earth’s own grid, how you can use them with distance healing work, how to set your intention, how to choose a grid formation, specific components of a crystal grid, how to select which crystals to use in your grid, how to activate and maintain your grid and even some practical grid “recipes” for various purposes! This practical guide will help you infuse crystal grids into your everyday life in a powerful way with clear, basic instructions on specific crystal grids and their uses.

excellent book. Written informally, with a dose of humour in it. Very informative and useful. More goodies can be gained from her website once read, too! excellent value for money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little book 5 Mar 2012
By Zenith
Format:Paperback
I was a little disappointed with the number of pages to this book for the price, however, once opened there was no doubt that this little book was worth it's salt. It was an easy, unstandable read, packed with information and tips on making crystal grids. It is a book that I consider worth buying.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quite disappointed in lack of practical detail 24 Mar 2014
By L.
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A large portion of this book is about science. Much is not necessarily just the science of crystals. It is refreshing to see a subject like this spoken of and backed up with science - it helps those of us who use crystals explain to science-oriented people how they work rather than making it sound that there is no substance other than new age fluff involved.

HOWEVER I got a large chunk of the way through the book and started the fear that by the time the part specifically about crystals appeared that the information must be incredibly condensed to fit it into what was remaining of the book. I was disappointed with the lack of detail in this section of the book, especially the lack of clarification of questions that I know a lot of novices have. I will give a couple of examples:

- The part on how to activate the grid says to use the wand, pointing it to the centre stone, and then pointing around the outer stones one by one, as if connecting the dots. It does not mention if it matters which outer stone to begin with or not, (apparently from what I have heard, it does not matter, but it would not hurt to clarify this) or to go clockwise or not, and it encourages you to watch one of Hibiscus Moon's videos to see how she activates the grid. I know from watching a few of her vids previously on YouTube, that she does not just point to each stone one after the other, but connects each stone to the centre stone by pointing to an outer stone, then the centre stone, then to the next outer stone, then back to the centre stone, and so on until all have been done. I do not feel that this would have been an incredibly difficult process to describe, and find it rather lazy to leave it out and direct people to a video instead.

3.0 out of 5 stars One of a very few books 3 May 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Having gone on crystal workshop, I was introduced to crystal grids. I researched the market and found Hisbiscus Moon was the leading light on this subject. I purchased the book and read from cover to cover. What lets this book down is the print quality. Although it would add to the price having good quality colour pictures rather than poor black and white would make such a difference.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very inspiring 11 May 2013
By NJP
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Hibiscus Moon is undoubtedly passionate about crystals, but it takes more than that to write an inspiring book. The pictures would have been much better in colour, and the science is interesting and necessary but it needs to be copied in with feelings and emotion to crystals. This book wasn't inspiring to me, it was a bit boring to be honest, maybe it was the quality (of writing and paper). I wouldn't use this as a reference guide to my grids.

3.0 out of 5 stars maybe a bit too much sience? 23 Mar 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Although it is very interesting to know the sience behind the grids, I would have liked to see a few more grids and in colour, otherwise very informative, but not very inspiring

5.0 out of 5 stars Clear & simple 24 April 2013
By BethP
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This is an excellent low-cost 'how to' book. Hibiscus Moon's enthusiasm shines through. It is well-explained, and some very useful specific layouts are included as a starting point. From there you can go on to experiment and tailor your own grids.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not enough information.
All grids are in black and white photography, these are crystals and we need to see the colours. I am not impressed as it tells me nothing more than I already know.
