A rattling good adventure from the master storyteller. The research of the troubles at the time is sound with the 'usual suspects' in place and one or two surprises!

An average read compared to his other work, Very drawn out and not enough action for the length of the novel, But at the end of the end day this is a good choice of fiction and the plots there for a good read and the collection of characters are well written, This book doesnt supply the spark as compared with his other books but still not a bad choice
