Been waiting for a DVD like this for along time. I have had a cassette of an hours worth of the Manchester gig from the 1991 'Silver Lining' tour since I taped if from the radio, I have since transferred this to CD and have played it to death. Here you get a full show of about 2 hours which for me is Nils at his peak. The versions of tracks like 'Keith don't go' and 'Cry Tough' are pretty definitive. The man is a truly great songwriter and singer and for me he plays with a depth of feeling and passion which no one betters. Such as on 'Valentine' and the sublime 'Shine silently'.
The 76 and 79 shows are excellent too, although not sure about the slight disco element that creeps in on one track in the 79 show, but it was sign of the times. There are of course duplicate tracks such as 'Cry tough'(can never have too much of that one)and the picture quality is not quite as good. The 91 show is very well filmed and on my 26" TV screen looks great. I don't have a great big HD flat screen (wish I had tho, but not cheap) but do have a good surround sound system. I will not dock stars for this as its a real pleasure to be able to watch footage of him live from these periods having not seen him back then. At 4 hours 27 minutes this is a superb value for money DVD.
