Why has this song flopped so badly in the UK?
It shows just how dire the uk charts now are.
Cry is a great track, the first time I heard it nestling at number 13 on the much underrated Invincible, I said to myself, there goes another number one. Oh Well, I was wrong, but the song gets better the more time you hear it. A cracker. The cd single is great value, with a storming dance track, Shout, never before available incidentally, and Streetwalker, a song that was cut from the Bad album before release, plus the video for Cry. Overall, a great song, should have been huge. Buy it!!

I have know idea why the critics love putting this man down. Michael is brilliant. Sure his new work isn't as good as his old but heck it is still brilliant. Cry is a good example of his talent. It is a slow ballad about changing the world now what is so bad about that. I do not understand how this song landed up at 25 on the UK Charts. It sounds a lot like You Are Not Alone and Earthsong and both of those songs hit no. 1.

Then there is an unreleased song called Shout. This song is very very heavy but it works for me, the only problem with this song is that you can't really hear Michael.

The 3rd track is a gem. Streetwalker is one of the best songs I have heard in my entire life. It has been released on Bad re-mastered. It is absolutely amazing. If you don't like Michaels new stuff buy this cd anyway because Streetwalker was made when Michael was in top form and trust me you can hear it.

The song ascends into real drama in a similar way to his hit "earth song". Jackson collaborates again with the Andrae Crouch choir who provide a heavenly backing to his powerful vocal.This song would surely have been christmas no 1 if his record company had bothered promoting it.It`s
one of many strong tunes from his new `Invincible` CD
