September has been around a lot longer than most of us think and, impatient for her UK campaign to spread its wings since 'Cry for You' was a surprise crossover hit in 2008, I imported two of her previous CDs and so, as long as two and a half years after they were released in her home country, some of the tracks on the oddly titled 'Cry for You - The Album' already sound out of place next to stomping new addition 'Leave It All Behind', which was originally to be her third British single before being switched for the excellent 'Until I Die', which was then canned completely!
Unfortunately, September has been painted as a throwaway one dimensional dance act like her labelmates Basshunter and also Cascada but there is so much more to her than NRGized pop ditties, listen only to the melancholy 'Flowers on the Grave' to see why - unless it's been tampered with as several of the other older tracks. The outcome of Hard2Beat's dire campaign, waiting nearly a year between first and second singles, soulless remixes etc, is that the album is, for the time being, download only and therefore unlikely to become the hit it deserves to be. Whether September's UK contract will live to see September (har-de-har-har!) remains to be seen but I hope it does as she's one of the more interesting and talented dance acts around.

This album sounds fantastic. Loved all of the singles which were released to the UK. Satellites, Cry For You, Can't Get Over and Until I Die were great single choices. Shame its only a download release, as really wanted a CD Version to be released, but at least its still getting released :) I've got all of September's Albums, but this one is by far the best :D Good Luck September :d
