This is a wonderful, hilarious film, this review is about the BLU-RAY RELEASE
While the "Director's Cut" is on DVD, for some reason they chose to use the EARLIER 1990's version of the film for Blu-Ray.
It's missing over 10 minutes of wonderful footage Waters put back in.
Either a political decision or a sloppy move, either way there's really no excuse.

This is a great treatment of a classic John Walters film. The picture is a great improvement from the DVD edition, The only down side is that this has only the cinema version of the film, it does not include the directors cut as well and it still only has the 2.0 soundtrack.( The music would be great with a DTS soundtrack ). A great edition for John Walters fans.

The Director's cut, which is on the DVD, is NOT INCLUDED ON THIS BEAUTIFULLY REMASTERED BLU RAY! Even the John Waters commentary is edited where he would normally say "This is a scene we put back" etc. Shame shame

Really Amazon? $42 for this blu-ray!?! I like this movie and all but there is no way I'd pay that much for a single blu-ray. I'm not gonna tarnish the movie with a low star rating because of your outrageous price, but I still had to voice my opinion. This should be $15 at the most. :)
