Here's an extract from just one review:
"It is funny, witty and sometimes very naughty! Once you start reading it is a very difficult book to put down, you cannot wait to find out what happens next. A lot of thought has gone into the individual characters, particularly the gentleman from Northern England with the unusual habit. There are passages where you will laugh so much tears will be running down your cheeks."
Laugh? I nearly died!!
This outrageous adventure follows Ermwright in his attempt to capture Dudley who used to be his daughter's private tutor before he ran off with her.
The Mafia, the Freemasons and even the French President all figure in this romp through the bars, restaurants, hotels and brothels of the Cote d'Azur and Paris.
The evil Ermwright has murder on his mind ....will he succeed?
This novel is difficult to classify. Maybe "Black Comedy" is the nearest. It is also a thriller as well as a chase. Whatever it is, the main "thrust" is a good old-fashioned belly laugh!
