I recently wrote my first book and I was looking for a tutorial on publishing with Kindle, Michael's video was one of the top ones and I found his style easy to watch and follow so after watching it I clicked on the link for his book and i'm so glad I did.
This book covers everything you need, in the order you will need it, for KDP. I'm not that technically minded but Michael's easy to follow instructions were idiot proof. I wish I had found this before paying someone else to format my book for me, on the assumption that it would be too complicated, but it really is quite easy and straightforward.
I enjoy books like this; you get all the experience without having to make the mistakes. I liked the personal tips and stories which made it feel real and trustworthy. There are a few points which are now out of date, but Michael does address this, and he didn't just delete the original writing but put a big **update** notice, so you can see how things have changed and also that he is still helping you and didn't just publish the book and forget about it.
There is everything you could need from tips on the cover photo/design to how to market it and get sales afterwards. The text is simple without being condescending. If you are a techno wizz then some points may be a bit basic, but the techniques and tried and tested methods save you the time of trying formats that won't stand out as well as the ones suggested here.
All in all I would HIGHLY recommend this book.
