awful 11 Jan 2012

Worst film I have seen in years. Terrible acting and a terrible storyline made it very disappointing. Wasn't what I expected at all. I have absolutely no positive comments.

Firstly I must stress that I only watched till about halfway of this film, as I found it so bad that I was not interested in watching the rest. It is possible that it got better, but I throughly doubt it. Having researched the film a bit more, I discovered it to be a 2001 Italian television series that has been converted into a feature film.

The performances given by the actors are very bad and wooden. I do not know whether the voices are dubbed over in English or not, but there appears to be a distinct audio-visual mis-communication. It dosen't help when a really corny American accent is used with a charcter who clearly should be from Scandinavia. The film's only saving grace is that they have manged to get the costumes and location of the period pretty much belivable, however with such awful performances, backed up with an uninteresting storyline, it really dosen't help all that much.

Best left alone.

Dire. Rubbish. Burn it.
If I could have given this a score of minus 1 million stars it still would not have given a true indication of just how bad this film is.
