impelliteri is the metal group fronted by the monster shredder chris impelliteri.he came about in the early eighties with a ep and then a debut album with graham bonnet and has continued with a steady stream of albums through the years.these albums have some very good songs on them ,the style is like power-metal with some normal style metal and ripping solos.bezt songs i would say are "beware of the devil" ,"slay the dragon" ,"freak show","wasted earth" ,"spanish fire" ,,,"father forgive them" ,"kingdom of light" ,"17th century chicken pickin", "for your love" .alithough the other songs are very good as well.
the solos are very very fast,although i think his eighties solos are faster, the freak show and father forgive them solos are SICK.
i suggest you buy this album now.especially if ya like shredding and excellent catchy songs

To be honest, I don't actually have this double-album. But I do have the 'Very Best of Impellitteri' album, and all the best songs from that (such as 'Freakshow', '17th Century Chicken Pickin', 'Spanish Fire' and 'Rat Race') are on this double-disc. These songs are worth buying it for alone, but if the rest are anywhere near as high quality, 'Crunch/Screaming...' should be a very good buy.

If you know Chris Impellitteri, you know he's the world fastest guitar player in the world. If you don't know him, you now know. I showed some songs to a friend of mine, his only reaction was "Inhuman!" That describes his solos very well. The "background" music is very groovy and matches his style very well. The vocals rule as well.
Lyrically, it is just as good as the music. Straight forward Christian lyrics.
Chris is Yngwie of the 90's that's for sure. Get this if you like good music with better lead guitar.
