Cruise confidential answered all of my questions and confirmed a few theories too.
I could never understand why a lot of the crew stayed on board when the ship docked
in great scenic harbours but I now know it's because they are too tired to walk
never mind sightsee!
Altogether a great book, I could hardly put it down.
Author has a great sense of humour and makes it an easy read full of laughs.
Cant wait to read his next book.
Very very disappointing and annoying.
The whole book was all about him showing off, how popular he is, how funny, how talented, how BORING.
I was expecting a look behind the scenes of a Cruise ship, the quirky passengers etc.
What a total waste of money.
The reader is taken through days of working with barely a minute off, through the excesses which consume time off. It tells his tale of chasing around the world for love, and dips into those who do it for money, yet it is just one mans view, a very American outlook on an unfamiliar world, slightly arrogant but still an entertaining read.
