Disturbingly beautiful - this book tempts you in and then sets you on a darkly poetic odyssey. The starkly beautiful language of Mytkowski is utterly absorbing as are the illustrations. I can't recommend this highly enough to anyone who loves a magical tale and dreams of other worlds.

Very nice little book - beautiful illustrations and wierldy dark but wonderful tale. Gothic without the eyeliner-angst. Only problem was I was left I wanting more of the story and more illustrations.
