Catches crud! 10 April 2009
By Thomo
Colour Name:Black
Got these after spending too much time washing me and my bike after off road rides. They are well made and fit fairly easily - although they are easier to leave on once fitted than remove depending on the weather. The front one is quite fiddly with little rubber bands around the frame. The rear one fits to your seat post. It can be easily removed, but leaves the fitting behind. Also - if like me you attach a rear light to the seat post, it will obscure it. Arrived reasonably quickly. A recommended buy.

This is a great product. Was extremely simple to fix to the bike!! Would recomend to anyone. The front guard was held on with elestic band, although that sounds bad it makes is very simple to take off and on. Back is held on with the standard clips which again is extremely simple.

Would recomend to anyone!!!!

Both myself and my partner have purchased the same crud mudguards. They are genuinely very easy to fit and can be attached in under five minutes. They are fabulous for my partner's bike as it is a newer model with disc brakes. However, my bike is an 8 year old trek with cable brakes. The front mud guard's attachment interferes with the braking system and can't be attached, worth bearing in mind if there's anyone else out there with an older braking system. Once attached to both bikes, they were excellent when going over fairly rough terrain and I would recommend them to friends.

Awkward to put on but worth it
Front mudguard was very fiddly to put on, rear one easy. But worth the effort as they work extremely well protecting the rider from rain/mud that would usually be flung from the... Read more

Not for me
I've used an older version of these guards and liked them a lot, but I'm not really liking these. The rear guard angle is adjustable, but but stops at an angle that leaves it quite... Read more

Needs better assembly instructions
I bought this for my son's BMX and I only use the rear one so far. It is great and easy to assemble but only once you understand the badly drawn instructions.

Race Mudguard
This product does what it says on the box. Easy to fit. Could do with a better Philips screw but worth it.

experience drier mornings and evenings with crud guards
I've never been drier down below. A great recommendation for the avoidance of road salt in your under garments.

Good quality but not as simple as it makes out
The quality of the product is good but I still have not managed to fit them to my bike! The front mudguard looks like it will fit to a smaller framed bike but as mine is quite... Read more
