Product Description
A dual inline memory module (DIMM) consists of a number of memory components (usually black) that are attached to a printed circuit board (usually green). The gold pins on the bottom of the DIMM provide a connection between the module and a socket on a larger printed circuit board. The pins on the front and back of a DIMM are not connected to each other. 240-pin DIMMs are used to provide DDR2 SDRAM memory for desktop computers. So there isn't a whole lot to say about such an item, but if you've found this page you can rest assured that the product is perfect for improving your computers RAM.
Relatively easy to install, they do need some pressure applied to get them in correctly (standard procedure for RAM sticks) which is actually explained in the instructions that accompany the item anyway.
All in all it will be up and running perfectly once you've installed them onto your motherboard; no software necessary. So if you're looking to upgrade your RAM from 1GB for example, to these 2 x 1GB sticks, then this is ideal.

Crucial 2GB Kit (1GBx2) PC2-5300 DDR2 Desktop Memory Upgrade 240-pin DimmI bought this kit for my old Dell XP computer because it was slow at doing certain tasks.They were easy to install and they did speed up reaction times.Iwould Recommend this kit.Check your computer manufacturer for the specifications of the ram that you require first as they all differ.
