I contacted the seller to see if these really are Crucial memory sticks as I didn't want to get a generic version like the other commenter.
Over 22 hours later I've had no response from the seller so I won't be buying.

The item arrived quickly (from Total Discount Stores) but was NOT Crucial memory, but a generic brand instead. Therefore there is no way to judge the quality of the product.
The item also arrived in an unsealed plastic package so there is no guarantee that it is new or that it has not been previously tried in another computer, potentially meaning a virus risk.
I would mind less if it stated it was generic. Mine will be returned in the next post.

Very easy to install, rebooted and worked first time. I never expected it to much else. One thing for novices though, try to ensure that you are 'grounded' (remove static) - Although it has never happened to me, I am told that you can cause irrepairable damage. If you Google 'replacing ram modules' you'll find hints/tips/videos on the correct procedure. Its not difficult but a little common sense goes a long way !

This arrived promptly, was a bargain and worked perfectly - great buy!!! I cant believe i almost paid twice as much in the local computer shop for the same thing

east to install, and works perfectly. upgraded my 1GB computer to 2GB now. computer much more functional now! excellent product, no problems so far.
