The DSi XL fits perfectly in this case. Has a mesh pocket inside (across the lid) where I can carry a few games and the stylus. Just two things to note that I didn't consider important enough as to take off any stars: the case is dark grey, not brown although both of the stylus are brown matching the ones of the brown DSi XL and the contents are the ones detailed under the title 'box contains' within the product description, so no cleaning cloth is included (says there is one under the manufacturer's description).

bought the starter kit when I ordered the Dsi xl.. glad I did,,, sturdy carrying case and a couple of card holders and spare pens came with it .very useful when travelling,,, took it on hols with me

This is a great kit it includes 2 stylus (a big one and a small one) and 1 hard shell case which is very well made and is a snug fit around the dsi xl 5* product.
