Format:Audio CD
Wee Davie obviously knows very little about music. Like virtually everything Richard Skelton has recorded, this is a masterpiece and steeped in distillations of loss/memory/landscape. It unveils its hidden depths slowly so is indeed not something for those with short attention spans who need quick fixes!

I hated this - I played it twice before putting it in the charity shop. I was on bit of an avant-garde classical binge and I thought this fitted but honestly, it just drones. I can't think of a category, it's not weird, it's not ambient, it just goes on and on...

Crow Autumn - ambient by way of organic resonance. Deeply embedded in landscape.
A Broken Consort is one of Richard Skelton's many musical pseudonyms.
This album is somber in part, shimmering as well.

Crow Autumn is just one of the many selections on this CD. Very eclectic and rests on your soul. Here is music I could listen to for a long time and not tire of it. I would like it to go onto main stream music lists and get the cudos they deserve. For now, this is like a hidden masterpiece that needs to be discovered by fans that are willing to give this kind of music a chance. I for one, love their music! Superb!!!
