I already own 3 crossword dictionaries (hard cover). each one of them have their own unique and special usage. 2 of them have excellent refernce sections for kentucky derby, olympic hosts, famous names, country listings etc. the so called special sections in this book and boasted other features are lame. i.e. i needed to know the spanish word for "those". i searched under spanish and 0 results found. i searched for "those" and got only reference to "those in office". not even close. where are the so called extensive lists of foreign words? as far as rivers, islands etc-you have to search very specifically THEN page through several pages to possibly find the right link to get to what you are looking for-you cant search for "river" and look thru an alpha list of countires or anything. as for the "special" sections, i randomly searched for kentucky derby and nobel prize, then had to determine which link would actually take me to the actual list-at least i was smart enough to bookmark some of that immediately for future reference! there is NO table of contents to get you to these reference sections, poetic words, foreign words etc-and we all know how easy it is to type on the kindle itself if you are just trying to do some puzzles in bed (if i wanted to use my pc it would be easier to just search google). i bought this by accident by hitting a wrong button while trying to do a search in the sample and figured, oh well, for $7 it should be worth it. but NO! one of my hard cover crossword dictionaries is entirely and strictly alphabetical and still more info and easier to use. the search links in this book are difficult to read and figure out as it only has snipits i.e. when searching for "river" - 72 pages of search results show up and it is not always easy to determine which country or city the links are referring to with the "snip-its" provided. you may only know the link is referring to canada, for example, because of the other words in the link such as "toronto" or "ALTA" (answer for province abbr). the only thing this MAY be good for is looking up single words i.e. "umbrage" (which of course only came up as an answer word-not actually listed on its own) . i had a clue that asked "feudal holding"-couldnt get anything! sorry this review is so long but if you are like me in what you are looking for-you will have better luck searching in the Bermuda Triangle!! SO DISAPPOINTED!!
