For us oldies who remember the film, this is a great soundtrack. The only disappointment id=s that the dueling guitar track is missing.

Mighty Fine! 7 Dec. 2009
By Nancy Varian - Published on Amazon.com

I like this album just fine. There is a bit of fussing on the review board for the CD version that the guitar solos are not included, but though I enjoyed that segment in the movie, I don't miss it at all in the soundtrack. What is included is prime.

Anyone interested in the real voice of Robert Johnson will do himself a favor by getting the two disc set of his recordings. Not just history -- stirring music from the best.

Classic Ry Cooder 26 April 2013

Just an awesome album. If you haven't ever listened to RY, this is the album to start with. An up beat cross between gospel and blues.

This album is excellant, the only thing missing is where the guitars duel in the movie Crossraods.
