This is a truly groundbreaking single release from a fresh young and hip bunch of younsters. It should receive world wide criticle acclaim for almost carving out their own style of music, blending the silk of pop with the raw talent of UK rap. What a combination.
I feel that the next single could be even better. What a video too. Looks high budget and comes across as slick and as cool as the Squad themselves. Really like the shirts they are all wearing in the video, nicely sized, fit well.
The girls all fancy the squad at school and i am a little jealous. They particularly like Strider, and think he has a cool name.
If you buy one single this season, buy Crossroads by The Blazing Squad.

Must Give Props 21 Jun 2003
By MoDiggs - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Okay so the whole ideal of a group of ten teens covering this Bone Thugs and Harmony song seems a bit funny, even corny but they seem to make it work. They obviously all have the rapping ability and even if you think it isn't a good cover you have to give them props for having the ability to actually do it. They could have done a really bad job but they did a pretty decent cover...hey look at it this way atleast it wasn't a band like N'Sync or of that boyband genre. This is a group of guys who live for rap and who have the ability and will hopefully continue what they're doing cause what they're doing is working for me!
Well Something Ain't Gonna Be At The Grammys 5 April 2003

Teenagers..A word used to express, immaturity, atittude and other novelties. So why not stereotype the entire youth of UK Cities and walk talk like the Blazin Squad...Obviously more is well..more nowadays as some mindless record label decided that the young girls are bound to fancy one of these muppets..actually fraggles..because muppets where talented once..The songs on this album were obviously written by some other hick like Ben Folds Five..Can this cd get any worse..Probably.as it seems easy to stay in the charts nowadays with a song about quacking ducks, ketchup and what people go to school for..indeed.THEY GO TO LEARN NUMMERS! Bring Back Iron Maiden..Hurrah..END OF MESSAGE
worst boyband ever!! 11 Jan 2003

these guys provide the worst collection of terrible noise i have ever had to put up with. they are not talented, they are not better lookin than your average, not because they cant dance or because they wear awful wannabe gangster clothes. Infact, i do not know why blazin squad is so 'awful' but they are simply disgusting in the most proposterous ways. the only thing i wud compare it to is, hang on, i wud compare it to just about every single pop song being released at the moment. its just irrelevant garbage.
I'll be der in da middle wen they're passin thru 27 Sep 2003

Really, i think that Blazin' are really talented. They really could rap and its good cos its mostly about real life. not all this other stuff about money and all that.I mean if you really listen to they lyrics in 'crossroads' or 'where the story ends' they do really make sense.Even 'reminsce' is a cool song.I think that they sound really good. And i'll be der in da middle wen they're passin thru...

Yes I know what your thinking.Another talentless boy band.WRONG!Thanks to reality TV all we have had 4 a long run is terrible tuneless ballads. However this is the best song that has come out in a long time and I'm sure they will have more to come.
