Crosspix puzzles are deceptively simple, very much like sudoku. Through a logical process of elimination and comparison, you use the numbers provided to determine which squares should be filled in. The biggest difference with sudoku being that, when you finish, instead of a grid of numbers, you have a pixillated picture to tell you if you've completed it correctly (as well as an answer key, of course). In the end, if you've completed the puzzle correctly, a picture reveals itself. Animals, sports, holidays, symbols a surprise is guaranteed behind every grid! Crosspix includes complete instructions as well as an answer guide.

wish i'd read the previous review before buying this book as i agree totally. the book is full of mistakes and badly designed puzzles that are impossible to logically complete (and they even admit this in the introduction!). my copy seems to have printing errors on it as well, with parts of the clues being obscured or missing, even though they are nowhere near the edge.
very frustrating to play, there are much better puzzles available online for free... wanted something to carry round offline but the paper isn't great and the binding means that the pages don't fold back easily or stay open flat anyway. very disappointed - would highly recommend people not to buy this book.

Puzzles range from easy to moderate, there are several mistakes in the clues, the pictures are hard to see and the quality of the paper is poor (making rubbing out difficult). Altogether a frustrating book.

I tend to agree with the other reviews, The puzzles were OKish apart from those with missing numbers or needing guesswork to complete & the paper quality was rough.
