Product Description

OUTTA SIGHT’s long awaited foray into the Modern end of Northern Soul.
24 killer Crossover tracks many of which appear on CD for the first time. Featuring current in-demander’s from the Electrifying Cashmeres and Imperial Wonders plus familiar favourites from Eddie Billups, Bobby Womack and the long forgotten Blackpool Mecca classic “Mama, I Wish I Stayed At Home” courtesy of Deniece Chandler. Chandler, aka Deniece Williams, also supplies the previously unreleased Crossover song “I’m Not Like The Others”.
The Modern soul 4-figure rarity “Patience” by Rokk finally makes its CD debut along with little known grooves by Point Of View, Christian Plicque and Uncle Remus.
Do the Crossover baby!

This is a great set with decent sound of late 1960s and early 1970s uptempo dance soul where the Motown derived Northern Soul template becomes more sophisticated and evolves to become Modern Soul. Please note at the time of writing the image Amazon has listed it with it wrong and is for another release.
