Book Description

Yes, upon fan request the Betrayed series is continuing!
While Brandt and Rebecca go off to have some babies, don't worry!
Davidson, Bunny and of course, Lopez are carrying the torch forward into more action packed adventures!

***Warning*** Before you purchase this collection please be aware that the Betrayed series is a set of extremely controversial religious/historical thrillers. Too controversial to be published in hardback. Please do NOT purchase this book if you were at all disturbed by the DaVinci Code or The Passion of Christ's revelations.

We also strongly recommend that you read at the least 30 Pieces of Silver before reading this book, otherwise the extremely controversial ending will not have the same impact.

Praise for the Betrayed series...
"Carolyn McCray's 30 PIECES OF SILVER proves that Dan Brown's crown is up for grabs. Part minefield and all roller-coaster ride, here is a story as controversial as it is thriller. Hunker down for a long night because once you start this book you won't be putting it down."
James Rollins, NY Times bestseller of Bloodline

"Oh yeah, these black ops non-coms are charmed to the max, but hey, that makes it all the more fun. These resourceful characters slide, roll, fall, rocket or get dragged by their fingernails from cliffhanger to cliffhanger but their wit, humor and audacity make credibility a non-issue. The synergy of talents and personality make it all work...somehow. The Betrayed Series is strictly for those seeking an armchair adventure where you can root for the underdogs and bust a gut laughing. Brava!"

Overview:
The Vice President's step daughter has been kidnapped. But that's not the problem. The problem? She seems possessed or has she just been driven mad by a cult that claims to have cloned Christ himself?

More praise for the Betrayed series...
"I usually skip short stories but I loved 30 Pieces of Silver so much that I knew Ambush would be worth reading. I was right! It is a fantastic introduction to Brandt and his crew leading the reading straight into 30 Pieces of Silver. I am so in love with Carolyn McCray's writing. Move over Dan Brown, there is a new sheriff on town!"

4.0 out of 5 stars A really enjoyable read 2 Jan. 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
This is the first book featuring Bunny, Lopez and Davidson as the main characters taking over the lead from Rebecca and Brandt. The story starts out as a rescue mission, to rescue the step-daughter of the Vice-President and ends up in a battle to save the world from another Doomsday Cult. The story has all that you would expect from Carolyn McCray with laughs, speed and intrigue. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unputdownable! 5 Jan. 2014
By Dfryer
Format:Kindle Edition
I was offered a copy of this book on Kindle in return for an honest review. I had intended to read it sooner, but with my only 'childs' wedding on New Years Eve, that just didn't happen! LOL! So anyway, here is what I though of Crosshairs.

I haven't yet read the first series running up to this point, but somehow, it didn't really seem to matter much, as it didn't take long to become swept away in the ever puzzling events that seemed to race across the pages!

I don't consider myself a very fast reader, much preferring to savour every detail, so it usually takes me quite a bit longer than most avid readers to read the same book, so I fully expected this book to take me a few days to read. I was wrong.

I won't waste this review with a synopsis that can be read above, but I will say that this book was so action packed, there was just no 'convenient' place to stop reading for me to go to sleep last night, and I literally read until I was so tired my eyes were streaming but also closing on me! I could no longer focus to read the words, so was forced to takie a break!

Then today I had plans, but seriously couldn't wait to get back to the book! It was on my mind all day, which is pretty rare for me for any book, to be in the forefront of my mind quite so much! I can sometimes have two or three books going, in various formats (paper, pdf, kindle etc.), but nothing got in the way of me reading Crosshairs (other than forced sleep last night, of course! Haha!). And that's just the reading side of my to-do list, which also all had to wait until I'd finished reading Crosshairs.

Carolyn, if you keep putting out books like this, I will never get anything else done!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb Escapism!! 2 Jan. 2014

The latest instalment in the 'Betrayed' series certainly doesn't disappoint, particularly ongoing fans. In fact, it astounds! I love the feeling of total immersion that this series engenders. It's like a big budget action blockbuster in print form. Just let yourself be swept up into the non-stop action, the global hopscotch, unrelenting suspense, uplifting humour and my favorite, the diverse loveable characters.
If you like to nit pick what may or may not be realistic, this isn't for you. It's a fictional story that will take you on a mind blowing journey.

1.0 out of 5 stars Too absurd 26 Jan. 2014
By Mark Higgins - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Apparently one can steal a space shuttle that is designed to be launched on a rocket. It comes already fueled and suddenly is able to launch from its 747 hauler, which is also fueled.

If you are in Bejing and need a helicopter you can suddenly go from inside a multi-story building to piloting one a distance beyond the range of any copter I know.

There is no real plot just an improbable trip around the world ruining famous places.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crosshair: An awesome beginning for the next cycle! 1 Jan. 2014
By Claire - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Crosshair was fantastic! I am so happy that there is a follow up for The Betrayed Series. I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely loved it. The fast pace action danger and evasion is once again non-stop for the team. They have a new team leader and group of crazy religious zealots to save the world from. I love these characters! I can't wait to see what happens next for Bunny and Davidson. And what else can Lopez hijack after this???? If you haven't read the Betrayed series you should start there (you can get the whole series in one collection now!) before reading Crosshair. You will be absorbed in a thoroughly enjoyable action packed reading experience - and you will want to jump right in to Crosshair to keep going and see what's next.

4.0 out of 5 stars To Infinity and Beyond... 1 Jan. 2014
By Ken Najuch - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Just when you think you've reached a new plateau...pow, to the moon. The action keeps coming, the villains keep falling, and maybe, just maybe the characters keep learning a little bit about themselves. Once again Carolyn McCray brings out the heavy hitters and sends this one out of the park. As a lover of the Betrayed Series from 30 Pieces on, this latest episode is another page turner I couldn't resist (or put down). With this second cycle the spotlight is now shifted to the rest of the team, and each and every one of them takes on more of the burden for keeping the mission on track. This was a wonderful story, that kept you moving from one theory to the next. In the end, I just can't wait for the next installment...
