Product Description

Product Description

The volumes in this series are intended either as stand-alone works on various aspects of needlework, or as a set. This guide to cross stitch introduces the materials, equipment and basic techniques of the craft, progressively building skills and applying them to the projects suggested. A selection of designs are offered, including traditional samplers, a sheet turn-back, a blanket for a child's bed and an edging for a dresser shelf. All instructions, both for the stitches and techniques, and for the projects, are clearly explained and illustrated with step-by-step colour artwork and photographic details.

A Wonderful book! 25 Feb 2002
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is great, it has many beautiful patterns in it, some very nice flowers, alphabets, motifs, and three very nice samplers. Easy to read and follow. A very nice addition to any stitcher's library.
