I think I gone a bit Crocs mad. I got this pair for my dad as he is going for Hajj and would require a relatively resilient pair of shoes during the pilgrimage but not to worry so much about wetting the shoes and also need something lightweight as well. He dislike the other crocs as they didn't look 'like normal shoes' and the Yukon was the best thing ever. It has vented ports on front and side and the lovely suede-like on the top made it look like "proper shoes". He found them very comfortable to walk in (albeit strange at first just like with all Croc virgins) and very light. What he liked best is that even when his feet is slightly wet/damp the shoes doesn't absorb the wetness (like normal sandal does) and dries off relatively quickly. He also likes the fact you can clean them easily so can be used indoors and outdoors. For someone hitting theirs 70s, he looks very trendy indeed!!

I've had these for about a week now, and I love them!
As I see it, they're great because they're half-sandals, half-proper shoes. All the advantages of crocs, but smart enough (and normal-looking enough) to wear day to day. I wear mine at work! (My trousers are long enough to cover up the fact that I have bare feet...)
The only real downside is that being leather, the tops of the shoes might be damaged by water. (But I don't really care about that, as it's no different from any other leather shoe.)

I bought these for my Dad, and it's safe to say he loves them. I got him these as the soles on his last pair turned into racing slicks. These ones look really good; much smarter because of the suede on the top of the shoe with the same comfiness. I would definitely recommend them, as they are light-weight, comfortable and they don't trap any nasty odours. Lovely!
