A group of students go to a remote lake where, after someone tampers with a nest of crocodile eggs, the parent croc starts going on a mad rampage.
Alright, so these kinds of films don't need complicated plots. But this is one of the best "killer reptile" films out there. Directed by horror veteran Tobe Hooper, it's a masterpiece of suspence with some well-staged shocking moments. The characters are all well-written and well-defined, from the naive teenagers to the dry-humoured Sheriff and the ghoulish animal keepers. A great film, all in all. It's genuinely tense and frightening without being too nasty, and it will keep you hooked.
