Product Description

Part of the B-Movie Collection from Boulevard Entertainment, featuring 12 of the most kitsch and memorable B-Movie titles ever made. Collect all 12 single titles to reveal iconic spine art work. Ever feel like something is watching you... A monster movie from Tobe Hooper, the director of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Poltergeist. A hundred years ago, an intrepid explorer opened a hotel on the banks of lake Sobek. The main attraction was in enormous Nile crocodile and folklore has it that the croc went berserk one night, and ate nearly everyone in sight. The locals burnt the hotel down to the ground thinking the creature would perish. How wrong they were. The first night a group of teens moor in a tiny inlet and begin to party, one of them, Duncan, discovers a huge nest on the shore and steals one of the eggs, and hides it in Clare's rucksack. When a 20 foot 600 pound mother croc is angry, look out! One by one it stalks out the group. One bite from its three inch teeth exerts 40 tons of pressure that will split you apart like matchwood. One death stare from this Mother and you are history... with sixty-five million years of practice the crocodile has learned a thing or two about killing.

I bought this dvd...because I love the animal killer genre but when I watched this dvd I couldn`t stop laughing!
It was a pretty cool film but watching teenagers standing there screaming for ages, even though the crocodile isn`t anywhere near them was hysterical! Like this one girl who gets her leg caught in a tree trunk screams and screams before the crocodile is in sight and then it comes opens it`s mouth wide and she falls in (basically!). The story wasn`t very good. But it was a good film there is a couple of jumps, and some cool scenes!
Worth a rent out with mates for a laugh but is a fairly good horror movie!

This film could have been a classic the story and action, location were almost there. The acting was watchable but the crocodile let the film down badly it was so plastic it was a joke. If you see it cheap like I did it's worth a watch otherwise please don't waste your money on this film there are better out there.

Out of all the Hollywood dvds I have seen this is probobly the only decent one.The film was good but was very slow at the start. The film is nothing you would ever expect from director Tobe hooper who made some great horror films like Salem's Lot, The Texas chainsaw masacre and Poltergeist.I thought the film was alright but not as good as Lake placid, if you really want a scary creature feature try Jaws, The Birds, Tremors or Alien.
