Here we go again, this time round we got naughty bank robbers crashing a plane of stereotypes into the "death swamp". So now we're all strapped in we know what to expect and provided yer in the mood, it is pretty good!

There is an undercurrent of grimness to this film that I didn't expect, as the Stereotypes are made to work as pack mules carrying the robbers ill-gotten gains through the swamp. Which was a nice touch. Theres also a handful of quite entertaining characters like the old drunk hunter.

Slightly more than average creature feature fare, Chomp Chomp goes the croc, bang bang goes the gun, WAAAAUUGH! goes the crocs dinner. Equal parts slapping yer forehead open mouthed and cheering on the Crocodile!

BRILLIANT!!! 1 July 2011
Format:DVD
I loved this film. when i was a child i would examine every inch of this until my mother finally got it for me.

first off let me say that this film will be awful to the untrained eye, but if you grew up loving crature features (crocodile, spiders, shark attack, anaconda, E.T.C) it's a dream.

we start with a bank robbery, fair enough, and we see our antagonists kill inoccont people and board a plane with our heroine. the plane crashes however into a swamp where most are dead apart from three robbers, our heroine and a few casuals. after avenging the death of our 20 seond screen time pilot by killing a croc. the crocs mate then comes for revenge which results in some corny one liners, suprissingly good effects and some of the greatest b-movie deaths to grace the small screen.

a great film in my opinion and i plead to anyone who reads this to buy this film and enjoy your cheese.

Crocodile Schlock 28 April 2010

A gang of violent armed criminals rob a bank and make off with a huge stash of cash following a shoot-out with police and security guards. The gang end up at the airport and, posing as a rock band with all the cash packed into guitar and drum cases, they board a passenger plane heading for Acapulco. Unfortunately, en route, the plane runs into some bad weather and the robbers attempt to hi-jack the plane. This film came out after 9/11 so how on earth they got all of those guns past the airport security and on board is anybody's guess! After a scuffle between the criminals and the crew, the plane crashes and the survivors end up being stranded in a vast area of swamp inhabited by- you've guessed it - a big, hungry crocodile.

It has to be said that some of the acting and dialogue in this movie is really bad. The leader of the gang of criminals seems to be doing a Samuel L. Jackson impersonation most of the time and he and his gang must be trying to set a new record for the highest number of "M-F" words in one single movie! The crocodile itself will probably induce more screams of laughter rather than screams of terror but I found myself longing for the killer croc to devour the whole bloody lot of them. There's even a "Carrie"/"Friday The 13th"-style trick ending.

Overall though "Crocodile 2" is an okay time-filler for fans of films featuring giant reptiles on the rampage but it's not in the same class as "Rogue" or even "Lake Placid".
