This is a nice looking slow cooker. For anyone considering buying one though, I'd offer the following advice. When I was looking for one, I read up on them and followed Which? magazine's advice and bought one with an "auto" option on it, as well as high and low. Auto setting cooks your food on high setting for one hour then reduces the temperature to low setting for the rest of the time. The Which? tests found that it produced better results than food cooked on just high or low, as it gives the food a kick start, then the benefit of the long slow cooking after it's been brought up to temperature.
